Refund eligibility depends on the reason for the refund, product category, seller policy, product condition and applicable ZUNMA policies.
1. When a Refund May Be Issued
A refund may be provided where applicable in situations such as:
- Order cancellation accepted before dispatch.
- Product unavailable after order confirmation.
- Product received damaged or defective.
- Wrong product received.
- Product significantly different from the listed description.
- Approved return request.
- Failed or cancelled transaction where payment was successfully deducted.
- Other circumstances approved under applicable ZUNMA policy.
2. Refund Method
Where approved, refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method or another permitted method, depending on the transaction.
For eligible wallet/credit refunds, the applicable terms will be displayed to the customer.
3. Refund Processing Time
After approval, the refund will be initiated within the applicable processing timeline.
The actual time taken for the amount to reflect in the customer's account may depend on the payment provider, bank or financial institution.
4. Partial Refund
In appropriate cases, ZUNMA or the relevant seller may approve a partial refund where permitted by the applicable product or transaction terms.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds may not be available where:
- The product is excluded from return/refund eligibility.
- The customer has used or damaged the product beyond permitted conditions.
- Required return conditions are not met.
- The request is made outside the applicable return period.
- The issue is caused by misuse or improper handling.
- Fraudulent or abusive activity is detected.
Nothing in this policy limits rights available to consumers under applicable law.
